When the “By Author View” is selected in the left hand frame, the messages are sorted and displayed according to authors in the main frame.

The names of the authors are listed in bold. Underneath the names are the dates of the messages along with the “Topic” or subject line.

The authors names are the law school network IDs of the authors, not their full names. Encouraging students to write their names in the message is an option if the network ID does not closely match the name of the student.
